Canada has always been a powerhouse in hockey, and this year is no different.

The team is coming off a tough 2024 showing where they didn’t medal. Before that, Canada won two straight and three gold medals in the last four years.

The World Juniors championship returns to Canada, so the team has a home-ice advantage throughout the entire tournament. It kicks off its 2025 campaign with a matchup against Finland, last year’s fourth-place finisher.

The Sporting News has all the details on how to watch Canada vs. Finland at the World Juniors.
