THE FA Cup third round is underway with fans treated to some blockbuster ties!

44 Premier League and Championship clubs enter the competition at this stage, joining 20 lower-league and non-league outfits.

Some of the standout matches of the FA Cup third round include League Two Accrington Stanley’s clash with top-flight leaders Liverpool at Anfield.

Tamworth, who are the lowest-ranked side left in the prestigious competition, host Premier League royalty as they welcome Ange Postecoglu’s Tottenham.

Elsewhere, FA Cup holders Manchester United take on fellow English giants Arsenal in Sunday’s featured tie.

The 64 teams competing in the third round will be reduced to 32, which means some huge names won’t be in the hat for the next stage.
