The Edmonton Oilers kept their red-hot playoff streak alive on Tuesday night, storming back to snatch a 4-2 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals.

Things looked grim early on for the visitors, as Vegas came out swinging. Mark Stone led the charge with a pair of first-period goals, putting the Oilers on the ropes before the first intermission. But this battle-tested Edmonton squad wasn’t about to roll over.

Corey Perry sparked the turnaround, chipping away at the deficit before Leon Draisaitl leveled the playing field with an equalizer early in the third.

The tide had turned, and Zach Hyman rode the wave by notching the go-ahead goal. Connor Brown added the finishing touch, burying the empty-netter to slam the door shut. The win marked Edmonton’s fifth straight comeback victory this postseason.
