WAYNE Rooney has spoken of his night in heels and a mini-skirt mimicking Queen frontman Freddie Mercury.
We told on Tuesday how the footballer-turned-pundit sang the band’s hits at his 40th birthday bash.

Yesterday, on his new podcast, Rooney confirmed he dressed in drag like Freddie in the video for 1984’s I Want to Break Free and danced barefoot during a three-night birthday surprise trip organised by his wife, Coleen.
The ex-England and Manchester United hero, 40 next Friday, said: “I thought I was going to the pub with 16 friends, so we met at my house but these helicopters turned up and took us to the Cotswolds.
“One night was fancy dress. I was Freddie Mercury. I wore high heels, a black leather skirt and skin-tight T-shirt. I was walking round with a hoover but my feet were intact.
“Coleen actually slipped in her heels and broke her foot.

Wayne Rooney called out for boxing match by former Prem goalkeeper
“We had bands coming out. And I got up on stage. It was good fun.
“I done Bohemian Rhapsody plus Me and My Monkey by Robbie Williams — that’s my go-to song.”
Dad of four Rooney also recounted singing on stage with Westlife at the reception after his wedding to Coleen, 39, in 2008.
He said: “Again, this was me singing. I was singing with Westlife, yeah, so I was telling him I was good, that I’m half decent.”
And he also revealed how he once slummed it at Glastonbury “squatting down” in toilets – before realsing he’d been given his own posh winnebago with all mod-cons at the music festival.
Roo explained: “Backstage at Glastonbury we stayed at Land Lakes.
“Coldplay were on and I was desperate for the toilet. So I’ve gone to the toilet, the toilets at Glastonbury are the worst thing I’ve ever seen.
“Anyway, I got speaking to Marcus Mumford and so I went back into the artist area right next to the Pyramid Stage and I’ve only got me own winnebago there, which I had no idea. I’d seen one with Rooney on. This was on the last day and I’d been squatting down in the toilet.”
And he told how he and Rio Ferdinand once got on stage with 50 Cent at the Manchester Arena – before the rapper walked off stage and Rooney chanted the name of the group he formed.
