ANDRE ONANA has stunned fans with a passionate team talk during his Trabzonspor debut.
The goalkeeper joined the Turkish club on loan from Manchester United after two error-strewn seasons in England.
Onana was mobbed by fans upon his arrival to Trabzon airport, and was thrown straight into the team to face Fenerbahce in the Super Lig.
And during the game, it has been revealed that Onana was behind a huge rallying cry for his new team-mates.
A 35-second video released online by Trabzonspor showed the 29-year-old in full flow in the dressing room as he delivered a speech, with the full behind-the-scenes story of the match being published on the club’s YouTube channel.
The Cameroon international spoke in English as a translator conveyed the message to his new team-mates.
Before he sits down, Onana is heard saying: “Let’s go, come on,” before clapping his hands.
Onana is then given a round of applause by the dressing room as he returns to his seat.
The teaser released on social media left fans stunned that he came out with such a passionate speech despite only having been at the club a matter of hours.
One fan said: “Bros been there one training session.”
A second said: “Instantly taking a leadership position. I am happy for him.”
But another fan could not forget his horrific time with the Red Devils, saying: “If only his saving ability was as good as how good he is at talking.”
Onana did not cover himself in glory early on, as he was partly to blame for Sebastian Szymanski’s goal after failing to push the ball away from danger.
However, he recovered to put in a performance that won him the Man of the Match award.
SunSport’s sources close to the player say he is determined to rebuild his reputation this season.
And he has dropped a hint over his intentions after deciding against relocating his family to Turkey.
