MANCHESTER UNITED flop Antony produced a wonderful assist against Ange Postecoglou’s Nottingham Forest.

Real Betis looked to spoil Forest’s return to Europe for the first time since 1996.

They got off to a good start, with Antony providing the pass that set-up Cedric Bakambu’s opener.

The winger, who signed on a permanent basis from Manchester United in the summer, collected the ball on the right touchline.

He paused for a moment and enticed the defender to make a challenge before skipping past him.

Antony advanced on the penalty box and fed Bakambu with a pass, who then turned and smashed a finish into the roof of the net.

Fans heaped praise on the Brazilian, who has been a hit ever since arriving at Betis, having joined on loan last season.

One reacted saying: “Nah man Lord Antony is unreal. He is cooking Nottingham Forest.”

Another added: “Antony Assist..Big Ange is cooked. Won’t last a season.”

A third wrote: “At Real Betis, he’s in the form of his life.”

And another commented: “The GOAT is back.”

Forest were quickly able to turn things around in Spain as Igor Jesus found the net twice in five minutes.
