CHELSEA star Jamie Gittens amazed fans with a brilliant piece of skill against Ajax.
The Blues took on the Amsterdam side in the Champions League at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
Summer signing Gittens was restored to the starting XI by boss Enzo Maresca for the first time in more than a month.
During the first half, the England youth international provided a glimpse of the talent that prompted Chelsea to fork out £52million for his services.
When a long diagonal pass was played to the left flank, it looked a difficult task for Gittens to keep it in.
But the former Borussia Dortmund star did with aplomb, using his back to perfectly cushion the ball down.

A brilliant reverse angle, shown live on TNT Sports, showed Gittens’ masterfully keeping his eyes on the ball before controlling it into his path.
Fans watching the coverage at home loved the piece of skill.
One wrote on X: “Gittens I can’t even hate! First time I’ve seen someone do that back control out of necessity. Love that s***.”
While a second posted: “What Gittens did is pure class.”

Chelsea romped to a comfortable lead during a dominant first half.
Kenneth Taylor’s red card on 17 minutes made the task easier, with Marc Guiu opening the scoring moments later.
Moises Caicedo doubled Chelsea’s advantage on 27 minutes, only for ex-Manchester United forward Wout Weghorst to grab a goal back from the penalty spot.
Enzo Fernandez scored a penalty on 45 minutes, before Estevao Willian added a spot kick of his own deep into first half stoppage time.
