Watch Cesc Fabregas gives spine-tingling speech to Como stars on the pitch after huge win as video goes viral

SOCIAL MEDIA went crazy for Cesc Fabregas’ spine-tingling speech to his players after beating Juventus.

The Como boss had just seen his side stun the Italian giants 2-0 and jump above their illustrious rivals into sixth in Serie A.

And the squad, including Fabregas’ former Chelsea team-mate Alvaro Morata, will never forget the Spaniard’s rousing speech in front of their home fans at full-time.

Como took the lead in the 4th minute through Marc-Oliver Kempf, showing an attacking threat while proving to be defensively strong in the first half.

Nico Paz scored in the 79th minute to extend their lead to two, sending the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia into frenzy as they defeated the Old Lady.

Fabregas could not express his gratitude enough, speaking to his players in a huddle to show his love and commitment to the team.

Speaking in English, the 38-year-old is heard saying: “I have one word, only one word – I am so proud of you.

“We run. 1 minute, 20 minutes, 10 minutes, I don’t care.

“You need that mentality to win at this football club, in this team. Thank you so much, let’s keep going.”

The players roar with emotion as the crowd cheer in the background.

Remarkably, Fabregas’ side – who were promoted back into Serie A two seasons ago after a long absence – sit just four points away from the top of the league after seven games played.

Juventus manager, Igor Tudor, had some vicious words to say, prior to the match against Como.

The Croatian had said during the preview: “Como is a fake small club, they spent a lot and in an interesting way; the players were all chosen by the coach, which is rare and impressive.”

Fabregas responded to the confrontation: “Tudor is in charge of a great club with an important history. He said that I take all the players, but maybe no one explained things properly to him.

“He is a great coach and works with great players. Tudor must always win with Juventus, while we have a different reality!“

The former Arsenal and Chelsea player acquired Morata and Jesus Rodriguez in the summer through his connection of Spanish football.

Morata has yet to score for Como in all seven games he has played for the club in the Serie A.

However, Fabregas ruled out any critics which dare comment about the player: “A striker is judged by their goals, but I don’t.

“He has to score goals for himself, but not for me. He has shown exactly why we brought him to Como”

With the energy and protection he has shown to his team, Fabregas has proven his loyalty to his club.
