Throughout Formula 1’s history, wet-weather races have occurred and in the first half of the 2025 season, there have been two F1 races hit with rain – the Melbourne opener and British Grand Prix.
In both instances, mixed up weather led to mixed up results. With that in mind, Autosport asks what happens when rain falls on an F1 race and what measures are in place to ensure racing still goes ahead?
