Utah Jazz Reacts: Jazz fans grade the offseason

Jazz fans have had one of the most eventful offseasons I can remember. Arguably the greatest prospect in team history was drafted while a massive trade for their starting center surprised everyone. So how do Jazz fans feel about it? Well, that was the point of this week’s Jazz Reacts survey.

So there you have it, the vast majority of Jazz fans gave an A or B to the offseason. The majority of fans gave a B, but because there are so many As, I think you could say the grade is either a B+ or an A-.

It’s a fair assessment for a team that is on the verge of starting one of the most exciting chapters in team history. Yes, they’ll be without Walker Kessler, but they also won’t be with Kessler’s albatross of a contract going forward. In a league with an incredibly restrictive cap, the Jazz kept their best players and have the flexibility to move forward with multiple options.

If you go to FanDuel, you can see that the NBA hasn’t caught on to how good the Jazz offseason was yet. The Jazz aren’t favored to win 40+ games. They’re currently a +140 to win 40+ games and +360 to win 45+ games. Personally, I’d be shocked if Utah didn’t win at least 40 games this year. In a month, we’ll find out if I’m wrong or right.
