For some perspective, John McEnroe won seven Slams across his career and Boris Becker got six.
Sinner, 24, has four Slam victories to his name.

Alcaraz has also leapfrogged his rival in the rankings and is the new world No1.

Jannik Sinner rarely gets overpowered and his defensive skills made to look ordinary tonight.
Alcaraz has essentially dismantled him aside from that second set.
Sinner had just ONE break point throughout the entire match. WOW!
Sinner saved two match points and forced deuce in the final game. But a forehand followed up with a smash got him a third championship. He then, obviously, won it with an ace.
It was a serving masterclass throughout. 130mph+ bombs, followed up by ruthless forehands and then the finesse of dropshots.
It had Sinner charging all over the court and looking perplexed at what to do. His game did not have the weapons to fight back.
When Alcaraz is playing like that he is unbeatable.
