THE final Grand Slam of the year is here as attention turns to the US Open!
British stars Jack Draper and Emma Raducanu feature again at Flushing Meadows after competing in the revamped mixed doubles event earlier this week.
Draper secured his best run at the US Open last year before crashing out to eventual winner Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals.
The Wimbledon champion and World No1 will be well fancied to retain the title as he eyes his third major trophy on hard court.
But one man who will undoubtedly be looking to get in his way is Carlos Alcaraz, as the Spaniard seeks revenge for his defeat to Sinner in the SW19 showpiece in July.
Elsewhere, Raducanu is playing some of her best tennis since her astonishing triumph at Flushing Meadows in 2021.
The British No1 hasn’t been helped by the draw as she is on the same side as defending champion Aryna Sabalenka, who is eyeing her first major title of the year.
When is US Open 2025?
- The US Open begins on Sunday, August 24.
- The women’s final will take place on Saturday, September 6, with the men’s final one day later on Sunday, September 7.
