Spring football returns this March when the United Football League (UFL) kicks off in Houston, Memphis, Dallas and Washington DC.
The UFL, which began last season after a merger between the XFL and USFL, features eight franchises, four from each of the rival leagues. The joint venture proved successful, as the UFL Championship on Fox attracted 1.6 million viewers.
Needless to say, the league has inherited many fans from the XFL and USFL, as well as some new fans. It doesn’t hurt that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson serves as the public face of the league, and former USFL exec and NFL star Daryl Johnston is leading football operations.
