Frazer Clarke, 9-2-1, faces Australia’s Justis Huni, 12-1, in a bout that directly affects his standing in the British boxing scene. Clarke is coming off a split decision loss to Jeamie TKV that stalled his route toward the British title.
Huni understands the platform.
“I’m truly honoured to be fighting in London on such a huge card headlined by Tyson Fury,” Huni said.
“The UK has a proud boxing tradition, and it means a lot to perform in front of these fans. April 11 is another important step in my journey, and I’m coming to deliver a strong performance and show I belong at the very top.”
Jeamie TKV, 9-2, faces Richard Riakporhe, 19-1 with 14 knockouts in a heavyweight contest. Riakporhe moves up from cruiserweight and steps straight into a serious test against the man who recently defeated Frazer Clarke. A win pushes him into the upper tier of the British heavyweight order.
Riakporhe’s power is proven at cruiserweight. Now he must show it carries at heavyweight against a champion who just defeated Clarke. Over twelve rounds, physical strength and conditioning will matter.
The co-main event features Conor Benn, 24-1, against former two-time world champion Regis Prograis, 30-3.
“April 11th can’t come soon enough, returning to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium again, where I made history against Eubank Jr means everything to me,” Benn said. “Fighting on the biggest stages, in the biggest shows, I fear no one!”
Prograis answered in kind.
“Last time I fought in London, Conor Benn was on my undercard,” Prograis said. “But this circle will close with me teaching him a lesson on April 11th.”
The preliminary card includes Troy Williamson vs Simon Zachenhuber, Felix Cash vs Liam O’Hare, Elliot Whale vs Tom Hill, Hector Avila Lozano vs Sultan Almohammed, Mikie Tallon vs Cristopher Rios, and Breyon Gorham vs Eduard Georgiev.
Tyson Fury vs Arslanbek Makhmudov headlines the night, though Frazer Clarke and Richard Riakporhe fight for standing within the British heavyweight picture. By the end of April 11, that order could shift depending on how they perform.
