A well-rested-looking Tyson Fury revealed today that he’s beginning filming with Netflix for another documentary on his post-retirement in boxing. This is reportedly the second season of ‘At Home with the Furys‘ on Netflix.
Fury’s Netflix Return
Fans on social media see the documentary as lacking any value now that Fury’s career is over, he’s quit after his two losses to Oleksandr Usyk, is still bitter about it, and shows no interest in returning for a lucrative fight against Anthony Joshua. Fury, 36, is now viewed as yesterday’s news by fans.
Showing Fury’s lifestyle and home life comes across as a similar move to the past American series, ‘Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.‘ Fans would be tuning in to see how comfortable the ultra-wealthy Fury has become. His fortune is estimated at $160 million. Fans would be voyeurs, watching to see how Fury’s life has changed from being a boxer to one of the idle rich.
With Fury no longer interested in fighting, it’s questionable how much value another Netflix documentary would have about him. The average fan is interested in boxing, not watching a mega-millionaire show off his Vanderbilt-esque mansion and how well he lives.
“Well, I cannot wait for this, guys. Today is the date. The old GK starts filming the documentary of Tyson Fury with Netflix,” said the prosperous-looking Tyson Fury on social media today. “I’m absolutely buzzing about it. I can’t wait to start filming, and we’ve got the best of the best doing it.
“It’s going to be an absolute smasher. Stay tuned for updates all day long. Get up,” said Fury.
