It’s really cool when you can see the Brotherhood in real time.
In this video, Cooper Flagg and Jared McCain return to Duke to get some runs in with the current team, which is good for everyone.
Flagg and McCain are professionals now, of course, and they are used to a higher level of competition.
Even so, they’re playing against some very talented young players, and it’s a good tune-up for the upcoming season.
As for the current Blue Devils, they get a chance to test their mettle against two guys who are among an elite number of players who not only have played in the NBA, but are valuable pieces on their teams.
And that’s an important distinction. Plenty of guys get to the league, and might play for a year or two, but just can’t stick.
These guys have, and they’re helping the younger members of the Brotherhood understand what it takes to get there, and just as importantly, how hard they’ll need to work.
It’s a great partnership on both sides.
