Turki Alalshikh Reveals Tyson Fury’s Riyadh Season 2026 Commitment, Hints at Controversial Usyk Trilogy Despite Fan Backlash

Turki Alalshikh Reveals Tyson Fury’s Riyadh Season 2026 Commitment, Hints at Controversial Usyk Trilogy Despite Fan Backlash

Turki Alalshikh revealed today that he’s spoken to Tyson Fury, and he gave his word to fight in Riyadh Season in 2026.” Alalshikh added that they have to “rabbit hunt,” which means he’s going to attempt to negotiate a trilogy match between Fury and unified three-belt heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.

Alalshikh Hints Usyk Trilogy

Fans are overwhelmingly against a third fight between Fury and Usyk. The reaction to Turki’s post hinting of making the Fury-Usyk trilogy has been negative. People Fury lost both fights to Usyk, and it’s not interesting for people to see a third.

Boxing: Sport vs. Business

Moreover, Fury doesn’t deserve a world title shot against Usyk after 0-2 in his last two fights. If boxing is to be a sport, it must be run like one. Matching Fury against Usyk a third time makes it more about business than sports. It’s not even a smart business move. That’s a waste of money on Turki’s part. Fans want to see Fury and Anthony Joshua fight.

Earlier today, the retired former two-time heavyweight champion Fury (34-2, 21 KOs) told the media that if he were to return to the ring, it would be to fight Usyk, whom he felt that he should have beaten in their rematch last December.

Fury stated that he’d watched the fight 250 times, and he believed he deserved to win by five rounds. The judges gave Usyk a 12-round unanimous decision by the scores 116-112, 116-112, and 116-112.

Fury Claims Usyk Rematch Win

“I want a fair fight, a fair result. Which I believe, and I know, I didn’t get. I thought I won by five rounds,” said a salty Fury today, complaining about losing his rematch to Usyk.

Fury looked too heavy at 281 lbs to move around the ring against the sprightly, athletic 226-lb Usyk.  Many boxing fans saw Usyk winning 11-1, as Fury wasn’t competitive at all in the fight and appeared to be old, slow, and too bulky.
