Turki Alalshikh revealed today that the Saudi Arabian company, Sela, will promote the Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford fight on September 13th in a Riyadh Season event. He says, “The broadcaster, we have not decided yet.” Fans on social media are betting that the event will be shown on DAZN.
Some had thought Dana White was going to promote the event. Having him arrange the fight card makes you wonder what the undercard would have been like. It might have had a UFC-esque look.
The Biggest Impact
People are more concerned about the location of the Canelo-Crawford fight than who the event’s promoter is. They want to know if it will be accessible or if it will be another VIP event for the carefully chosen few, who were wealthy, like the Times Square event on May 2nd.
