Potential Donnarumma blow

Gianluigi Donnarumma may not move to the Premier League this summer after announcing his imminent departure from Paris Saint-Germain.

That is because Donnarumma earns about £200,000 per week, which is why no Serie A clubs are interested in taking him.

Intriguingly, the only English club to express an interest in the goalkeeper so far are Manchester City although there have not been concrete talks.

This is despite the fact that Ederson, Stefan Ortega and the newly-returned James Trafford are already at the club.

The Italy international makes some spectacular saves in big moments but equally, he is not great with the ball at his feet which is one reason why PSG manager Luis Enrique has bombed him.

And let’s not forget the 26-year-old is not even that good at dealing with crosses. People might say he is the best keeper in the world but he really is not.

Manchester United do not want to sign him, although even if they did, manager Ruben Amorim would have to move on Andre Onana first. And those huge Donnarumma wages would be a problem.

And Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool as well as Newcastle are not looking for a keeper.
