Garnacho agrees Chelsea transfer

Alejandro Garnacho has agreed to join Chelsea, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The two clubs are set to begin talks over a fee.

But Garnacho only has his sights set on Chelsea, who are still working on a deal to sign Xavi Simons.

West Ham close on keeper

West Ham United look set to sign the Leicester City goalkeeper Mads Hermansen for about £18million.

The east London club released Lukasz Fabianski, who had been their No1 at the turn of the year. Alphonse Areola ended the season as Graham Potter’s preferred choice in goal but it is unclear whether the Frenchman will stay at the club, with two years left on his deal.

Hermansen, 25, joined Leicester from Brondby in 2023 and suffered relegation with the club last season.

West Ham also considered moves for Aaron Ramsdale, who has joined Newcastle United on loan from Southampton, as well as Botafogo’s John Victor and Parma’s Zion Suzuki.

Newcastle move on from Sesko

Newcastle are targeting Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen after missing out on Benjamin Sesko, according to the Mail.

And their chances of securing Brentford striker Yoane Wissa have been boosted as the Bees eye a move for Bournemouth’s Dango Ouattara.

Bournemouth move for winger

Bournemouth are interested in Bayer Leverkusen winger Amine Adli, per Sky Sports.

They have added the 25-year-old to their shortlist of targets for wide areas.

Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola has been very keen to add in that position this summer.

Adli has three years left on his deal at Leverkusen.

Silva lining

Marco Silva is growing increasingly frustrated with Fulham’s lack of transfer business.

The Cottagers have made just one permanent signing so far this summer in the form of freebie goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte.

And SunSport’s Tom Barclay went into more depth on what the problems could be at Craven Cottage.

Doak battle

West Ham and Leeds are reportedly in a battle for Liverpool star Ben Doak.

The 19-year-old winger impressed on loan at Middlesbrough last season.

Liverpool have already rejected £20million offers from Ipswich and Crystal Palace.

Sky Sports have suggested that both the Hammers and the Whites have “expressed interest” in Doak.
