Grealish EXCLUSIVE

Jack Grealish’s future is in limbo with clubs scared off by his £300,000-a-week wages.

Everton, Newcastle and Napoli all showed tentative interest in the £100million Manchester City winger, while he has also been linked with Bayern Munich.

But nothing has materialised for the 29-year-old England ace, who is under contract on £15m a year at City until 2027.

Grealish wanted to keep his options open as the new campaign drew to a close.

And he’s ready to play the waiting game for as long as possible.

The ex-Aston Villa attacker realises his time at City is over after falling foul of boss Pep Guardiola and has been putting in the hard yards during a holiday in Ibiza.

He looks in fine fettle as he prepares for the upcoming campaign.

Grealish’s stock has fallen to such an extent that he was not included in City’s squad for the Club World Cup in the US.

His motivation is to reach the World Cup next summer.

But the megabucks contract he signed after joining from Villa four years ago is hindering his chances of returning to Prem action.

Nunez ‘ready for Napoli switch’

Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez is reportedly ready to join Italian champions Napoli.

That said, the Blues are unwilling to match the Reds’ £70million valuation for the Uruguayan.

Nunez has failed to nail down a regular spot in Arne Slot’s side and is keen to leave the club in the hope of more first-team football.

Liverpool are said to be after a new striker this summer, with Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike linked, but they will both cost huge money.

Chelsea offered Martinez

The Blues have joined Manchester United in the race to sign £45million Emiliano Martinez.

Villa are reportedly ready to cash in on the Argentine in a bid to ease fears over failing the Premier League’s PSR test.

The Red Devils have been linked with Martinez this summer, but it appears the fee Villa are demanding is too high for them – and Andre Onana is keen to establish himself as the No1.

Joao Felix attracting interest from Saudi Arabia

The Portuguese forward is reportedly a summer target for NEOM FC and potentially Al-Nassr, if they fail to land Luis Diaz.

Felix spent the second half of last season out on loan at AC Milan.
