TOTTENHAM have reportedly launched a club-record bid for Savinho just hours after Arsenal hijacked their move for Eberechi Eze.
The Crystal Palace star looked set to join Spurs in a £65million switch this summer.
But an injury to Kai Havertz saw Arsenal join the race for Eze on Wednesday afternoon.
And after immediately meeting Palace’s demands, the Gunners struck personal terms with Eze to win the race for his signature.
Tottenham have now missed out on two top playmaker targets in Eze and fellow England star Morgan Gibbs-White, who ended up signing a new Nottingham Forest deal.
But with James Maddison out for the season with an ACL injury, Spurs remain determined to boost their attack.
And Brazilian outfit Globo claims they have now resurrected their interest in Manchester City’s Savinho by launching a club-record £69m bid for the winger.
Spurs had previously seen a £50m offer snubbed by their Premier League rivals, who are keen to keep Savinho at the Etihad.
But the samba star has concerns over playing time following the arrivals of Omar Marmoush, Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki.
And Savinho’s agent is now said to be in the UK as he talks with both City and Spurs over a deal.
Thomas Frank is said to be a huge fan and reckons Savinho would be the perfect addition to his squad.
The ace’s arrival could see Mohammed Kudus allocated a more central role in the team.
While Savinho believes a move to London could help him regain his spot in Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil squad.
Spurs could also target another centre-back after Frank demonstrated his ability to play five at the back in certain games.
But Cristian Romero is going nowhere after signing a new contract despite links with Atletico Madrid.
