A still-salty Tevin Farmer, after his recent defeat, faces William Zepeda tonight to try to capture his WBC interim lightweight title in their rematch, with the event starting at 8:00 p.m. ET, live on DAZN. The event will be staged at the Poliforum Benito Juárez in Cancún, Mexico.

Farmer (33-7-1, 8 KOs) believes he should have won his fight against the unbeaten Zepeda (32-0, 27 KOs) four months ago on November 27th, and he can’t stop harping about it, sounding like a person stuck in the past.

To some fans, Tevin sounds like an old fisherman who can’t stop yapping about a big fish he’d almost caught but slipped the hook to escape. After listening to the guy tell the same story 100 times, you’d wish he’d just clam up already. Farmer just needs to get out there tonight and prove himself instead of talking about his loss 24/7.

“It went to the scorecards. It took a little while to see the scorecards. I knew something went wrong, but I was confident that I would get the decision because the fight was a little close,” said Tevin Farmer to Golden Boy Promotions on X, relieving his memories of his loss to William Zepeds from last November.

“When you got close fights like that, knockdowns make a big difference,” said Tevin, arguing that his dropping Zepeda in the fourth round should have been enough for him to win based on that alone.
