Tom Brady’s Fox contract details
Before he had even retired, Fox offered Brady a 10-year, $375 million contract. He played his final NFL season in 2022, then took a year off before entering the booth in 2024.
Making $37.5 million annually, Brady has the largest contract among NFL announcers. CBS’ Tony Romo is reportedly second at $18 million a year.
As several networks bid for Brady’s services post-retirement, Fox executives used the power of nostalgia to lure the seven-time Super Bowl champion. They played a video with highlights from his career showing multiple Super Bowls that Brady won, which happened to be on Fox.
“To build a new legacy, become the face of a network dedicated to giving you every resource possible to succeed with it,” the narrator in the video said.

From there, Brady signed multiple extensions with the Patriots, the largest being a $72 million extension in 2010, which made him the highest-paid player in league history at that point.
