Tom Brady is currently an NFL broadcaster for Fox and is considered the greatest of all time (GOAT) among football players due to his illustrious 23-year career and seven Super Bowl wins.
Brady hung up his cleats once but then decided he still had something left in the tank. He ended his 20-year tenure with the Patriots and then joined the Buccaneers for the final three years of his career.
Your appearance is bound to change when you’re in the league as long as Brady was. He entered the NFL as a lanky quarterback out of Michigan in 2000 and played for 23 years. Then, Brady immediately joined the broadcast booth with Fox, became a minority owner of the Raiders and donned a suit.
The stark contrast between Brady coming out of Michigan through his playing career and then into broadcasting has been noticed by fans. Here’s a look back at Brady’s before and after journey.

Tom Brady’s appearance
Viral 40-yard dash
Brady was not a highly touted prospect coming out of college. He wasn’t near the top of draft boards and didn’t come with many expectations. His NFL Draft Combine photo has gone viral several times due to how awkward the quarterback looked.

Added into the Brady lore is that a blistering 5.17 40-yard dash came along with this picture. He wasn’t expected to amount to much at the professional level, and every single team passed on him for five rounds. The Patriots drafted him in the sixth round with the 199th overall pick and didn’t realize at the time that it was arguably the best draft pick of all time.
Final Super Bowl with the Patriots
Brady went through several transformations throughout his playing career. His face would thin out and then be fuller the next season. His hair would go from buzzed to shaggy. Essentially, Brady kept changing with the times while also aging. He was with New England from 2000 to 2019. That’s nearly two decades of fashion trends and keeping up with what’s “in” in society. When Brady won his final Super Bowl with the Patriots, it was a chiseled jawline and buzzed hair.

Final Super Bowl of his career
Brady was with the Buccaneers for only three years, but that didn’t stop him from adding another Lombardi Trophy to his resume. He proved that he deserved his accolades, and it wasn’t just because he was playing for head coach Bill Belichick. Brady’s hair got a little shaggy for the final Super Bowl win, and that was also when fans started to question his pearly white teeth.
Fox broadcaster
Brady has denied having had plastic surgery. He attributes his looks to his healthy diet and workout routine. We know that Brady takes his diet seriously because a point of contention in the Patriots documentary ‘The Dynasty’ was whether the quarterback could have his chef/nutritionist come on the road with him.
NFL DRAFT NEWS:
Tom Brady viral time lapse
Brady’s legacy will live on forever. Sure, he has seven Super Bowls and retired with several records for quarterbacks, but that isn’t all he will be known for. Every NFL Combine, Brady’s 40-yard dash is shown to try and show that even a poor Combine performance doesn’t automatically write off a player’s NFL career.
Given how long Brady played during his career, a time lapse goes viral every so often about how Brady evolved throughout his career. The morph is just his team picture from his rookie season through his final year in Tampa Bay.
