The third edition of the Gedlich Racing’s Formula Winter Series will see leading teams from all corners of Europe compete head-to-head, using the Tatuus T-421 chassis, and run on Pirelli tyres.
The tyre change brings the series in-line with many of Europe’s leading summer single-seater classes.
For the first time, the series will race in Portugal, as the season begins at Portimao from 30 January-2 February. After crossing the border to Spain, Valencia will hold the second round from the 13-16 February, followed by a pair of consecutive weekends from 27 February-2 March at Aragon, and the season finale at Barcelona from 6-9 March.
Each race weekend will feature three 30-minute +1 lap races, with over 30 cars expected to compete.
The 2025 Formula Winter Series grid was fully-booked by October 2024, with additional teams on the waiting list, and features entries from AKM Motorsport, US Racing and Jenzer Motorsport, plus new entries from Hitech GP and Van Amersfoort Racing.
The series marks the first opportunity of the year to see talent from different national F4 competitions go head-to-head in Europe, with free entry for fans for the opening three rounds.
Every race of the season will be aired live on YouTube.
