If there is one thing the NBA has taught teams over and over again, it is the importance of depth. Injuries happen (knock on wood). So it’s best to have a solid 10 to 12 players you can trust to varying degrees.
The San Antonio Spurs come into the 2025-26 season with a boatload of depth. They are bringing back every meaningful rotation player from their NBA Finals run last season, while adding veteran forward Tobias Harris and rookies Tarris Reed Jr. and Jayden Quaintance (whenever he is healthy enough to play) to provide needed front-court depth.
