Tennis icon Anna Kournikova, 44, seen for the first time since announcing pregnancy following health scare

TENNIS legend Anna Kournikova has been spotted for the first time since it was revealed she’s pregnant with her fourth child.

The sports star, 44, already has three children with singer Enrique Iglesias and it was reported that the couple would soon be adding a fourth child to their brood.

Now Anna, who previously looked unrecognisable, has been pictured in Miami on Thursday as she did grocery shopping with her seven-year-old son Nicholas.

She was seen wearing a baggy brown cardigan, with black leggings as well as black socks and sandals.

The mum-to-be also wore a pair of black sunglasses and had her hair tied up in a ponytail as she held a grocery bag in her hand.

Earlier this month, Spanish publication Hola claimed Anna is already halfway through her pregnancy. A source close to the couple also said things are progressing well so far.

The two are yet to publicly speak about the pregnancy or share any updates about their journey so far.

Anna and Enrique, 50, are already parents to twins Lucy and Nicholas, seven and five-year-old Mary.

Back in January, she sparked concerns over her health after she was seen being pushed in a wheelchair with a protective boot on her foot.

However, since then, she’s been seen on many occasions on her feet, including taking her children to martial arts last month.

Having retired from professional tennis in 2003, she now keeps much of her family life private.

The Russian once boasted a top ranking in doubles and peaked at number eight in the singles game 25 years ago.

She failed to win a singles Grand Slam title during her career but came close when she reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon in 1997.

However, Kournikova did secure two doubles titles at the Australian Open in 1999 and 2002. She was forced to retire at just 21-years-old due to injury troubles.

Off the court, Anna became a model and was as well known for her beauty as she was for her tennis prowess.

She was voted the world’s sexiest woman in 2002, beating names such as Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez. She doubled down by being voted the sexiest tennis player of all time in 2010.

Anna and singing sensation Enrique began dating in 2001 after she appeared in his music video for song Escape.  The two were lauded for their chemistry with the video showcasing plenty of racy scenes.

After this, the pair became inseparable and went public with their relationship by walking the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet in 2002.

Despite being together for more than two decades, the two have no plans to get married to one another.

She previously told People: “I’m never getting married,” before giving a relationship update, saying, “Everything is good.”

He also elaborated on why they didn’t need a certificate to prove their love for one another as he told Parade magazine in 2012: “I’ve never really thought marriage would make a difference.

“Maybe it’s because I come from divorced parents, but I don’t think you love somebody more because of a piece of paper. Nowadays, it’s not taboo to have kids and not be married. What makes a difference is that you’re a good parent, period.”
