CRISTIANO RONALDO bought Georgina Rodriguez an engagement ring worth MILLIONS.
The star couple announced their engagement on Monday when they shared a post on social media holding hands with Georgina, 31, donning a massive diamond ring.
There is currently no info on where or how Ronaldo, 40, purchased that gem but jewellery experts have shared their two cents regarding the potential estimate.
People quoted a few esteemed jewellers, such as the managing director of 77 Diamonds, Tobias Kormind, who claims the ring is about 37 carats and worth a staggering £3.7million.
Engagement ring specialist at Lorel Diamonds, Laura Taylor, argues the “extraordinary” oval-cut diamond ranges between 15 to 20 carats and is worth easily more than £1.5m.
Jewellery aficionado turned social media content creator, Julia Chafe, estimates the ring to be about 35 carats and worth up to £2.2m.
The celebrity pair have been together for nine years, but Ronaldo has previously been hesitant to pop the question.
The couple met in 2016 when Georgina was working at a Gucci store in Spain during the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s time with Real Madrid.
They have two children together – Alana, seven, and Bella, three – and formed a family with CR7’s three kids born to two surrogate mothers.
That includes Cristiano Jr, 15, as well as twins Mateo and Eva Maria, both eight.
Ronaldo has never been married before as he has been focused on his stunning 23-year career.
The star forward won every title available with Manchester United, Real and Juventus.
The Portugal captain now plays for Al-Nassr and is set to compete in the 2026 World Cup despite his advanced age.
