Spurs’ Yves Bissouma faces axe after he’s filmed inhaling laughing gas AGAIN as he deletes club mentions from socials

SPURS ace Yves Bissouma is facing the axe after he was filmed inhaling laughing gas — a year after being suspended for the same thing.

The Premier League side last night confirmed they had launched a probe after footage emerged of the midfielder using a nitrous oxide balloon at a party.

Meanwhile, the 29-year-old has removed all reference to Spurs from his Instagram account, sparking speculation among supporters.

The latest footage, which appears to have been filmed in the early hours of November 3, was sent to a woman who had been invited to join him at the party in London.

She told The Sun on Sunday: “I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

“Bissouma was openly inhaling from the balloon even though he had been in trouble before for doing this.”

It comes after The Sun revealed videos in August last year of the player inhaling so-called “hippy crack” which he posted on his own Snapchat.

It led to him being suspended by Tottenham while he issued an apology for his “severe lack of judgement”.

Bissouma, who is also the captain of Mali’s national team, is now facing the prospect of tougher disciplinary action.

Use of nitrous oxide can lead to brain disorders, depression, memory loss, incontinence, hallucinations and nerve damage.

It is illegal to supply the class C drug under new tightened laws, with offenders facing up to 14 years behind bars.

Bissouma, a £30million signing from Brighton in 2022, has been struggling with injury and has not started for Spurs so far this season.

In August, manager Thomas Frank left him out of the  squad for the UEFA Super Cup final against Paris Saint-Germain for persistent lateness.

Bissouma played for Mali in October but was stretchered off with an ankle injury just minutes after coming on.

Spurs officials sent him to the FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence in Qatar last month to continue his rehabilitation. He was expected back on the pitch in the next few weeks.

He was also hoping to travel to Morocco later this month to play in the Africa Cup of Nations.

At the time of his suspension last summer, Bissouma said: “I want to apologise for these videos.

“This was a severe lack of judgment. I understand how serious this is and the health risks involved.

“I also take my responsibilities as a footballer and a role model very seriously.”

A Spurs spokesman said of the new video: “We are looking into the events and it will be dealt with as an internal matter.”

Bissouma was approached for comment.
