Eagles running back Saquon Barkley briefly exited the team’s divisional-round meeting with the Rams to receive attention on his left wrist.
In the second quarter, Barkley took an apparent helmet to his left wrist area. Barkley was in evident pain and grimacing before he helped Philadelphia convert a third down with a 16-yard reception. He then exited the game as the Eagles’ training staff worked on his wrist.

Barkley quickly returned to the field, but he will likely be playing through some type of ailment in the second half. Here’s the latest on his injury.

Saquon Barkley injury update
Barkley missed a few plays while receiving attention from Philadelphia’s training staff.
After his wrist and hand were taped, Barkley returned to the field as the Eagles completed the final drive of the first half.
It is worth noting that Barkley’s 16-yard reception happened after the injury, and when he returned to the field, he picked up 12 rushing yards on two carries and two yards on another reception.
The designation and severity of Barkley’s injury is unknown but it will be something to monitor throughout the second half.
