Report: Potential Broncos schedule leak suggests London game in October

The NFL will reveal its full schedule for the 2025 season this Wednesday night, but between now and then, we’ll certainly see some leaks and some games that may even become official before that.

While every leak should be treated as nothing more than a rumor, it provides a talking point and something to look for as the schedule is officially rolled out. One of these potential leaks suggests that the Denver Broncos will face the New York Jets in Week 6 in one of the league’s international games.

Two different X/Twitter accounts have leaked this information. NFL Nerd (@NerdingonNFL) and Ozzy (@OzzyNFL), have each shared that these two teams will face off in Week 6 and both accounts, while not associated with the league in any way, have been correct with some of their leaks in the past.

There was also an interesting tweet from Benjamin Allbright, who covers the Broncos for KOA Radio.

From that image, we can see that there is a horse, jets, Christopher Columbus, and the famous dish of the United Kingdom, fish and chips. That would lead one to believe that the Broncos and Jets will play in London on October 12, the day before Columbus Day.

The Broncos have been predicted to play in several marquee games this coming season including on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. There was another prediction that saw the Broncos facing the Indianapolis Colts in Berlin.

It seems that between the predictions and these potential leaks, there is a good chance that the Broncos will play overseas or in a holiday game this season… perhaps both.

The Broncos and Jets played last season on a rain-soaked field inside MetLife Stadium. The Broncos got an ugly 10-9 win in that game.

If the Broncos are destined for London, it would be the third time the team has played a game there. They were defeated by the San Francisco 49ers, 24-16, in 2010. In 2022, they defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars by a score of 21-17.
