Motorsport in the UK suffered a double tragedy on Saturday when two competitors died in very different disciplines of the sport within the space of three hours.
Leading rally co-driver Dai Roberts died in an accident on the Jim Clark Rally when the Hyundai i20N Rally2 he was sharing with James Williams crashed. Less than three hours later, Vintage Sports-Car Club racer Julian Grimwade lost his life when his 1913 Romano Special crashed on the opening lap of a race at Donington Park.
Both competitors were popular members of their motorsport communities and Chief Editor Kevin Turner is joined by Paul Lawrence in this week’s sombre podcast to talk about the two passionate enthusiasts.
