We got a major update about the Las Vegas Raiders’ offensive line following the team’s latest practice of organized team activities.
According to Tashan Reed of The Athletic, the Raiders appears to have four of the five starting spots upfront locked in.
Reed notes that left tackle Kolton Miller, center Jackson Powers-Johnson, right guard Alex Cappa and right tackle DJ Glaze did not rotate out during the latest session.
There was a rotation at left guard, however. The two participants at that spot were Dylan Parham and Jordan Meredith, Reed reports.
“There’s an ongoing competition at left guard,” Reed revealed. “Left tackle Kolton Miller, center Jackson Powers-Johnson, right guard Alex Cappa and right tackle DJ Glaze seem to be locked into starting spots, but Dylan Parham and Jordan Meredith rotated at left guard throughout practice.”
After making only one start over his first two seasons, Meredith managed to find the starting lineup in eight contests last season. Meredith played well, with the former undrafted free agent not giving up a sack and just nine pressures in 574 offensive snaps (399 pass-block snaps), per Pro Football Focus.

Meredith posted grades of 75.7 in pass-blocking (16th among guards) and 78.4 in run-blocking (14th among guards).
Parham has been a regular starter at guard for each of the past three seasons, although he made the full-time switch to the right side in 2024.
Parham was OK but not great, with the former third-round pick giving up five sacks and 36 pressures in 882 snaps (591 pass-blocking snaps). Parham posted pass-blocking and run-blocking grades of 67.5 and 75.6, respectively.
Cappa was signed by the Raiders in free agency and it was thought that he’d have to compete for a starting job, especially after a down season with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2024. It doesn’t appear that’s the case, at least early on.
Meanwhile, Miller, Glaze and Powers-Johnson are not surprising at all. Miller has been a stalwart at left tackle for years now, and both Glaze and JPJ had impressive showings during their rookie campaigns in 2024.
Of course, a lot can change between now and the start of the season, but for now it looks like the Raiders’ offensive line is already taking shape.
