The Las Vegas Raiders are set to enter their first NFL draft under the new regime of general manager John Spytek and head coach Pete Carroll on Thursday. The Raiders are currently slated to pick at No.6 overall in the first-round, but the team has nine total picks to work with.

The Raiders already addressed one of their most pressing needs this offseason by acquiring quarterback Geno Smith from the Seattle Seahawks. Smith should finally give Las Vegas stability and consistent play at the sport’s most vital position, but he can’t do it by himself, which is why many analysts predict the Raiders will use their Round 1 selection on a generational playmaker to aid the veteran signal-caller.

Let’s take a look at the latest mock drafts for the Raiders ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft, which is set to kick off on Thursday night.

Last year, the 5-foot-9, 216-pound Jeanty averaged 7.0 yards-per-carry and did not have a single game where he didn’t run for at least 100 yards.”

NFL.com’s Bucky Brooks: RB Ashton Jeanty, Boise State

Brooks: “Pete Carroll’s apparent desire to feature a dominant rushing attack makes the Boise State standout the sensible pick to serve as his lead back.”
