Aston Martin has wasted little time in announcing its first partnership deal of 2025 as online forex broker Pepperstone joins for the upcoming Formula 1 season.

Having confirmed a swathe of new deals towards the end of last year, including the likes of PUMA, Glenfiddich and Xerox, Aston has revealed Pepperstone as its global forex and trading partner as part of a multi-year agreement.

Pepperstone’s branding will debut on the AMR25 when it is launched in the coming weeks, with F1’s first-ever livery launch event taking place at London’s O2 Arena in February.

“We’re delighted to welcome Pepperstone to Aston Martin Aramco and the world of motorsport,” said Jefferson Slack, Aston Martin’s manager director of commercial.

“This partnership reflects our shared commitment of pushing boundaries and redefining excellence, and we look forward to collaborating with Pepperstone to create unparalleled opportunities and drive impact in key global markets.

“We believe that together with Pepperstone we are well placed to promote their exceptional services to a global audience in an exciting category.”

Founded in 2010, the partnership with Aston Martin is Pepprerstone’s first foray into motorsport sponsorship but for group CEO Tamas Szabo, it is the perfect fit.

“Pepperstone and Aston Martin Aramco thrive in high-performance, precision-driven environments where trust, excellence, and relentless innovation are at the core of everything we do,” he said.

“We are thrilled to work together and build a winning partnership that drives success both on and off the track, and we can’t wait to celebrate this at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, the first of the season and our home race.”

Aston Martin heads into the new season on the back of a difficult 2024 campaign but buoyed with renewed optimism as the team awaits Adrian Newey’s start date in March after he was announced as the squad’s new managing technical partner last year.

As the most successful car designer in the sport’s history, the full impact of Newey’s arrival is unlikely to be felt until 2026 and the regulation changes that occur.

However, in a recent interview with Autosport Business, Slack said the team would not be ceding performance in 2025.

“We’ve got some new management in now and I think they’re trying to be competitive in 2025 – nobody’s given up on ‘25 clearly,” he said.

“I can tell you we are not giving up on 2025, we are focused on being really competitive and in developing well over the winter.

“Then in 2026, a lot of the puzzle will be in place with our staffing, Adrian embedded fully and also having our engine deal with Honda and our wind tunnel.”
