The New England Patriots should be much better in 2025.
It’s not hard to have a better campaign than the 2024 season. New England won just four games last year and got the No. 4 pick in the 2025 National Football League Draft and used it to select offensive tackle Will Campbell out of LSU.
The Patriots have been very active in free agency. New England had money to burn and signed a handful of guys like Stefon Diggs, Joshua Dobbs, Mack Hollins, Carlton Davis III, Milton Williams, Morgan Moses, and Harold Landry.
Although a lot of talent has been added, there’s some guys on the team still who are underrated and will have a big impact. Pro Football Focus’ Jonathon Macri mentioned defensive end Keion White for the Patriots.
“New England Patriots: EDGE Keion White,” Macri said. “White experienced a Year 2 breakout in 2024, playing a crucial role along New England’s defensive line, leading the team in pass-rush snaps (427), PFF pass-rush grade (76.7), pressures (45), and sacks (six).

“Despite logging more than 500 defensive snaps as a rookie in 2023, White didn’t produce all that much, He stepped up in 2024 with the team trusting him in a larger role, even ranking 22nd at the position in PFF pass-rush grade while lining up in multiple spots and even dropping into coverage on occasion.”
White is just 26 years old and had five sacks in 2024. How will he follow that up in 2025?
