With January right around the corner, most people are excited to celebrate the arrival of a new year. For football fans, this time of year means it’s time for “football weather”, highlighted by freezing temperatures, whipping winds, and the occasional snowstorm.

As of now, 10 NFL teams play indoors, with the other 22 having stadiums that leave players exposed to the elements. In some of the northern cities, players can be forced to deal with some pretty brutal conditions.

One of those northern cities is Green Bay, Wisc., home of the Green Bay Packers. The Packers are set to host the Saints on “Monday Night Football” in a game that could be highlighted by some extreme temperatures and potentially snow.

Let’s check in on the latest updates and forecasts coming out of Green Bay.
