Three days into NFL free agency, former Green Bay Packers superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers is still a man without a team.

The New York Jets officially released him on Wednesday, allowing him to officially come to terms with another team, and the two teams thought to be in the running for his services are the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants. Of the two, the Steelers are thought to be the favorite to land him.

Pittsburgh could give Rodgers an opportunity to end his storied career on a happier note after two dismal years with the Jets. The team just agreed to trade for star wide receiver D.K. Metcalf and has one of the NFL’s better defenses, and there is a chance it could also scoop up veteran wideout Cooper Kupp, who was just released by the Los Angeles Rams.
