While the New England Patriots have been having one of their worst seasons in franchise history, a few of their individual players have had successful campaigns in 2024.

The top player on that list is probably second-year cornerback Christian Gonzalez, who was eighth among all players at his position for Pro Bowl fan voting.

Finishing above Gonzalez was Patrick Surtain II (Denver Broncos), Byron Murphy (Minnesota Vikings), Marlon Humphrey (Baltimore Ravens), Carlton Davis (Detroit Lions), Donte Jackson (Pittsburgh Steelers), Mike Sainristil (Washington Commanders) and Derek Stingley Jr. (Houston Texans).

The 22-year-old has appeared in every game so far this season (although that streak is in jeopardy after suffering a concussion in the team’s Week 17 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers). This year, he’s recorded 59 tackles, 11 passes defensed, two interceptions and a fumble recovery for a touchdown.

When the final votes are tallied with coaches and players, there’s a strong chance that Gonzalez will make the AFC roster.

However, there could be a couple more to join him, as New England fans probably aren’t voting with as much passion this year due to their struggles. Punter Bryce Baringer, punt returner Marcus Jones and special teams ace Brenden Schooler should also receive votes from their peers and coaches.
