FORMER Leeds striker Patrick Bamford has been spotted at Coventry’s training ground after being released as a free agent.
The 32-year-old has been unemployed since the start of the season after his contract was mutually terminated.

The one-cap England wonder was linked to Spanish club Getafe but the deal fell through. Sheffield United also claimed to be interested.
He was called up for the Three Lions by ex-boss Gareth Southgate for the 2022 World Cup qualifier fixtures.
Bamford started the match against Andorra and played 62 minutes, marking his only appearance for England.
However Telegraph reporter Mike McGrath revealed on X that he has been seen training with Frank Lampard’s side at the C’Ft ball Training Centre.

The post read: “Patrick Bamford seen at Coventry City training ground. The 32yo striker has been a free agent after leaving Leeds United at the start of the season.”
It quickly led to fans speculating that Bamford was set to join the Championship table-toppers.
However, reports suggest that Lampard is simply allowing Bamford to train with Coventry as a favour to his former-Chelsea team-mate.
This wouldn’t be the first time the Chelsea icon has helped out a free agent having taken Jamie Paterson in before. In that instance the forward signed a short-term deal.
