The Denver Nuggets are sticking with David Adelman for the franchise’s next chapter. The Nuggets announced Thursday that Adelman has been promoted to be Denver’s permanent head coach, after less than two months as an interim coach.
Adelman became the team’s interim head coach in early April, after Denver fired Michael Malone with just three games left in the regular season. Denver then went on a strong run against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the conference semifinals before ultimately losing in Game 7.
