Keyshawn Davis took to social media, lecturing his followers, saying, “This culture is weird asf!” WBO lightweight champion Keyshawn is fighting out that he’s not going to receive 24/7 praise for the choices he makes for his opponent selection.

No Step Up in Sight

Fans have turned on him after he failed to step up and fight Andy Cruz, instead choosing the inactive Edwin De Los Santos for his next fight on June 7th at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. They’d been patient, giving Keyshawn a pass for taking soft opponents like Denys Berinchyk, Gustavo Lemos, and Jose Pedraza.

Apparently, Davis was hoping he’d be validated for his choice of De Los Santos, but the fans have been roasting him for the selection. That hasn’t happened. “All we do is talk down on each other,” Keyshawn complained. He wants the fake praise from fans, in other words.

He thinks that fans should be supportive, no matter what, and not have a crab mentality of holding him back. That’s not how it works. They want quality fights, and they haven’t seen it with Keyshawn. He could have stepped up ages ago and fought the murderer’s row of killers at 135: Cruz, Muratalla, Abdullah, and Jadier Herrera.

He’s starting to realize that people have caught on to his “Businessman” act, and has no intention of stepping up against the killers at 135, like Andy Cruz, Raymond Muratalla, and Abdullah Mason. They see him clearly now.

People can see for the first time that Keyshawn doesn’t look like he has any intentions of fighting the A-level competition at lightweight before he moves out of the division to 140, 147, or 154. They know what he’s going to do already because he’s shown himself.
