Nicolas Jackson staying in Germany to push through Bayern Munich loan despite Chelsea telling striker to FLY HOME

NICOLAS JACKSON is determined to complete his Bayern Munich transfer despite Chelsea telling the striker to fly home.

The striker was left raging after landing in Germany just as Chelsea pulled the plug on his Bayern Munich move.

Jackson, 24, touched down in Bavaria on a private jet as it emerged the Blues had performed an “extraordinary” U-turn.

Chelsea have been trying to flog Jackson in the final days of the transfer window after signing both Joao Pedro and Liam Delap.

But, with £30million Delap suffering a hamstring injury in the 1-0 win over Fulham – while Jackson was in the air – Chelsea have decided they need the Senegalese forward to stay as cover.

Video footage showed Jackson smiling at Munich airport as he arrived to finalise a record loan move — with Bayern due to pay £13million for one year.

But he was fuming when Chelsea chiefs called him to say the move was OFF — with Delap out for “six to eight weeks”.

The loan move had the option to become permanent for £56m.

SunSport understands Jackson had been due to undergo his Bayern medical at 2pm on Saturday until Chelsea informed player and club that permission had now been revoked.

Jackosn’s agent Ali Barat was last night trying to resurrect the move.

And, ahead of Bayern’s 3-2 win at Augsburg, sporting director Max Eberl said: “Jackson is still here. After the match, we will act.

“You negotiate, you reach an agreement, then comes the medical check and extraordinary things still happen.”

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca is finally landing Alejandro Garnacho

Speaking after the game, he added: “Chelsea have informed us that they want the player back – after we had reached an agreement yesterday and were allowed to conduct the medical.

“Now the situation is that the boy is in Munich and we have to send him back. That’s the current state of affairs, I can’t look into the future.”

Jackson and his entourage will spend the night in Germany.

And SunSport understands they have no intention of flying back to the UK as they push for the deal to go through.

Diomansy Kamara, a member of Senegal star Jackson’s entourage, reposted an Instagram story that said: “We’re not going back.”

The ex-Fulham and West Brom striker later added: “The plane does not go backwards.”

Joao Pedro, who scored his second Prem goal of the season yesterday, was left as the club’s only recognised striker after the injury to Delap.

Asked after the game about the possibility of cancelling Jackson’s loan, boss Enzo Maresca said: “No idea. When you have two strikers, it’s enough. When one is injured for different weeks, probably it’s not enough.

“Liam Delap is expected to be out for six to eight weeks because of this type of injury. His injury doesn’t look good.”

Blues have loaned talented striker Marc Guiu, 19, to Sunderland for the season and let Christopher Nkunku join AC Milan for £38m.

Maresca was happy with just two strikers and put an £80m price tag on Jackson after Chelsea won the Club World Cup in July.

Aston Villa and Juventus held talks over a move for Jackson before a deal was agreed with Bayern.
