NHL Awards tracker 2025: Full list of winners, voting results for Hart, Vezina, Calder trophies and more

The NHL calendar continues to churn at a furious pace.

The Panthers and Oilers are locked in a second straight contentious Stanley Cup Final joust, while the NHL Draft beckons in the distance. We’re but a few weeks removed from a captivating IIHF World Championship.

Now, there’s the 2025 NHL Awards, set to take center stage on Thursday night — at least until Florida and Edmonton take the ice.

Stars are expected to dominate the spotlight, with Nikita Kucherov, Connor Hellebuyck, and Leon Draisaitl all vying for the title of league’s most valuable player. Other standouts like Cale Makar and Aleksander Barkov have already gotten their hands on gold, too.

The Sporting News is tracking voting results and winners from the NHL’s 2025 award show. Follow below to keep up with the action as awards are unveiled before a live audience.

2025 NHL Awards winners

Here are the finalists and winners for each NHL award as well as the voting results.

Hart Memorial Trophy

Finalists:

  • Nikita Kucherov, F, Lightning
  • Leon Draisaitl, F, Oilers
  • Connor Hellebuyck, G, Jets

The Hart Trophy is presented to the most valuable player in the NHL.

Vezina Trophy

Finalists:

  • Connor Hellebuyck, G, Jets
  • Darcy Kuemper, G, Kings
  • Andrei Vasilevsky, G, Lightning

The Vezina Trophy is awarded to the league’s top goaltender.

Ted Lindsay Award

Winner:

  • Nikita Kucherov, F, Lightning

Finalists:

  • Nathan MacKinnon, F, Avalanche
  • Cale Makar, D, Avalanche

The Ted Lindsay Award is given out to the league’s most outstanding player as voted on by the Players’ Association.

Lightning star Nikita Kucherov was named the recipient of the famous prize, earning the praise of his peers in the process. It’s his second time earning the achievement, as he also earned the prize back in 2019.

Kucherov led the league in points (125), nabbing his third career Art Ross Trophy. With 84 helpers, Kucherov became the first player in league history to record three consecutive 80-assist campaigns.

James Norris Memorial Trophy

Winner: 

Finalists:

  • Zach Werenski, D, Blue Jackets
  • Quinn Hughes, D, Canucks

The James Norris Trophy is awarded to the top defenseman in the NHL.

Makar hoists the sterling silver ornament for the second time in his career.

The Avalanche star led defenseman in scoring (92 points) and posted the first 30-goal season for a defender since Mike Green in 2008-09. With 92 points on the year, Makar is just the fifth defenseman to post back-to-back 90-point campaigns.

Calder Memorial Trophy

  • Lane Hutson, D, Canadiens

Finalists:

  • Macklin Celebrini, F, Sharks
  • Dustin Wolf, G, Flames

The Calder Memorial Trophy is given to the league’s top rookie.

Hutson nabbed the award after leading all rookies in scoring (66 points). The Canadiens standout is the fourth defender in the NHL’s modern era to accomplish such a feat.

All three of Hutson’s predecessors (Bobby Orr, Brian Leetch, and Quinn Hughes) went on to win James Norris Memorial Trophies.

Frank J. Selke Trophy

  • Sam Reinhart, F, Panthers

The Frank J. Selke Trophy is awarded to the “forward who demonstrates the most skill in the defensive component of the game.”

Barkov landed his third Selke Trophy, further cementing his status as the game’s greatest two-way forward. He outgunned his teammate, Reinhart, to secure the prize.

Jack Adams Award

The Jack Adams Award is given to the top coach of the season.

Carbery lands the prize after leading the Capitals to the best record in the Eastern Conference in his second season at the helm.

With his win, Carbery becomes the first taskmaster to win the ECHL, AHL, and NHL Coach of the Year titles in a single career.

When are the 2025 NHL Awards?

  • Time: 6 p.m. ET

The 2025 NHL Awards will be aired on Thursday, June 12 prior to the start of the Panthers’ Game 4 duel with the Oilers in the Stanley Cup final. The spectacle, hosted by actor Isaiah Mustafa, will kick off at 6 p.m. ET.

  • TV channel (U.S.): TNT
  • TV channel (Canada): Sportsnet

Fans in the United States can tune into the 2025 NHL Awards on TNT on Thursday, June 12, at 7 p.m. ET. The event can also be streamed on Max or Fubo, which offers a free trial. In Canada, fans can watch on Sportsnet.
