The NFL offseason has arrived, meaning it’s officially “Mock Draft Season.”

While the 2025 NFL Draft won’t arrive until April 24, plenty of the league’s analysts, media members, and writers take the weeks following the Super Bowl to predict where the top draft-eligible players will land.

With the NFL Combine beginning Thursday and prospects putting their skills on display, anticipation for the draft is building. The combine can help boost the draft stock of undervalued talent, giving front offices an idea of the athleticism a player may bring to their squad.

As scouts further evaluate the pool of players for the draft, mock drafts will be evolving — and there are already some differing predictions on how the NFL Draft will go.

Especially without a clear-cut No. 1 choice this year, there’s some uncertainty on how things will play out in April. Plenty of draft analysts have released recent mock drafts, but no mock draft is the same.

Here is a look at several of the top mock drafts as the NFL Combine gets going, including how several experts foresee the first round going.

Noteworthy:

— The Giants and Raiders, two teams in need of a franchise quarterback, have often been projected landing spots for Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders. In Iyer’s draft, New York and Las Vegas both pass on Sanders for playmakers.

— This is a draft loaded with talent on the defensive line, as eight edge rushers and four defensive tackles were off the board in the first round.

— Defensive backs come off the board early, with three taken in the top 10, then just one in the rest of the first round.

Mel Kiper’s latest ESPN mock draft

29 Commanders Maxwell Hairston CB Kentucky
30 Bills Jahdae Barron CB Texas
31 Chiefs Aireontae Ersery OT Minnesota
32 Eagles Walter Nolen DT Ole Miss

Noteworthy:

— Kiper’s latest draft has some interesting shakeups. Among them: the Jets claiming Sanders as their Aaron Rodgers replacement at pick No. 7. Meanwhile, the Giants and Raiders wind up with the top-two Heisman Trophy finishers in Hunter and Jeanty.

— There are a few players in Kiper’s draft that fell far below where they’ve previously been projected, like Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan. In some mocks, McMillan has gone in the top-10; here, he lands at No. 22 to the Chargers.

— One of the most common player-team connections out there has been Ohio State wide receiver Emeka Egbuka being taken by Pittsburgh. That trend continues here. It wouldn’t be surprising if the Steelers select Egbuka, as they could use a wide receiver next to George Pickens.

28 Lions Donovan Jackson G Ohio State
29 Commanders Jihaad Campbell LB Alabama
30 Bills Matthew Golden WR Texas
31 Chiefs Josh Conerly Jr. OT Oregon

Noteworthy:

— Whereas most other mock drafts project only Jeanty going in the first round, Jeremiah’s draft adds Hampton and Henderson as first-round running backs.

— The Browns and Raiders come away with Ward and Sanders as their next franchise quarterbacks, respectively.

— The defending champion Eagles select yet another defensive player out of Georgia, with Starks falling to No. 32 as arguably the draft’s top safety.
