The NFL Draft is just weeks away, meaning teams and prospects are making their final preparations for the first major event of the 2025 NFL season.

With the NFL Combine and major universities’ pro days behind them, teams are conducting top-30 visits with prospects and finalizing their big boards ahead of the draft. As such, speculation is beginning to run wild, and fans are getting a clearer idea of who teams may select with their picks.

This year’s draft class has plenty of standout prospects, but the order in which they will be selected has been almost impossible to forecast. With the draft quickly approaching, many of the NFL’s top draft analysts still are not on the same page regarding who may land where, adding to the excitement of this year’s draft cycle.

Noteworthy:

With the Titans and Shedeur Sanders mutually agreeing to cancel a private workout, Miami’s Cam Ward is emerging as the consensus No. 1 overall pick and Tennessee’s franchise QB of the future. Kiper is all in there.

– Speaking of Sanders, Kiper is following the Shedeur-to-New Orleans smoke by slating Colorado’s QB1 to the Saints at No. 9. A total of three QBs go in the first round here, with Los Angeles selecting Ole Miss’ Jaxson Dart as the presumed heir apparent to Matthew Stafford.

– Kiper is particularly high on North Carolina’s Omarion Hampton, who he has slated to go 12th to the Cowboys. Like many mocks, Kiper also has Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty going to Las Vegas, meaning he has two RBs off the board by pick 13.

Vinnie Iyer’s latest mock draft from The Sporting News

Pick Team Player Position School
1 Titans Cam Ward QB Miami (FL)

28 Lions Tyler Booker G Alabama
29 Commanders Donovan Ezeiruaku EDGE Boston College
30 Bills Mike Green EDGE Marshall
31 Chiefs Omarion Hampton RB North Carolina
32 Eagles Grey Zabel G North Dakota State

Noteworthy:

– While some are predicting a Sanders slide, Iyer is still holding strong on QB being the first two selections in this draft. He cites the fit in Kevin Stefanski’s system and Cleveland’s need for a quality starter as the reasons for the Browns selecting Sanders second.

– Iyer remains high on Arizona’s McMillan, who may have the widest range of potential landing spots among all first-round prospects. He cites McMillan’s “Mike Evans-like appeal” for former Buccaneers offensive coordinator Dave Canales.

– Conversely, Georgia’s Jalon Walker comes in at 20, making him another prospect with a wide range of landing spots. Iyer has teams in search of defense, going with the likes of James Pearce Jr. and Jihaad Campbell before sliding Walker to Denver.

Daniel Jeremiah’s latest NFL Network mock draft

Jeremiah’s latest mock draft was released on March 18:

Pick Team Player Position School
1 Titans Cam Ward QB Miami (FL)
2 Browns Abdul Carter EDGE Penn State
3 Giants Shedeur Sanders QB Colorado
4 Patriots Travis Hunter CB/WR Colorado
5 Jaguars Jalon Walker EDGE Georgia

7 Jets Armand Membou OT Missouri
8 Panthers Mason Graham DT Michigan

28 Lions Mykel Williams EDGE Georgia
29 Commanders Azareye’h Thomas CB Florida State
30 Bills Kenneth Grant DT Michigan
31 Chiefs Josh Simmons OT Ohio State
32 Eagles Shemar Stewart EDGE Texas A&M

Noteworthy:

– Jeremiah’s most recent mock forecasts Sanders to the Giants, but it is worth noting that it was released days before New York signed Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson.

– As mentioned above, Walker has a wide range of landing spots. Jeremiah is extremely high on the Georgia LB, slating him as a top-five pick to the Jaguars, three spots up from his previous forecast to Carolina.

– Tyler Warren to Indianapolis may become a reality, as Jeremiah is one of two mocks to predict that pairing. With an impending QB battle between Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones, the Colts will want to get the type of weapons to bolster the competition.

*Brugler predicts a trade between the Titans and Giants, swapping the No. 1 and No. 3 picks

– Much has changed since Brugler’s last mock, and the Giants’ moves at QB make a trade up to first overall unlikely, though not impossible.

– While it has been a month since this mock draft, Brugler was all in on Jeanty landing in Las Vegas and barring some type of unforeseen circumstance, it does appear that Boise State’s star will be suiting up in silver and black in 2025.

– The Sanders slide may have been exaggerated but it is noteworthy that Brugler has the Steelers going with a QB. If Sanders moves back up, Dart could be an option here, as indicated by Iyer and Jeremiah.
