The NFL has reached the Divisional Round of the playoffs, with only eight teams still standing. This weekend’s exciting quarterfinals slate features day-night doubleheaders on both Saturday and Sunday.

The top seeds from both the AFC and NFC will be in action on Saturday. Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the reigning-champion Chiefs host C.J. Stroud and the Texans in the afternoon, and Jared Goff and the Lions welcome Jayden Daniels and the Commanders at night.

Then, on Sunday, the Eagles host the Rams in Philadelphia, and the Bills take on the Ravens in Buffalo at night. That first game could produce the dark-horse NFC Championship sleeper. The second one could easily produce the next Super Bowl champion.

All four of these matchups feature compelling storylines.

Kansas City, looking to become the first team to three-peat as Super Bowl champs, will pit two-time MVP Mahomes against 2023-24 Rookie of the Year Stroud. Detroit’s juggernaut faces Daniels, the odds-on favorite to win Rookie of the Year and the man who saved Washington’s football franchise.

The Rams are representing the entire city of Los Angeles, but escaping Philadelphia, containing Saquon Barkley, and scoring on the Eagles’ defense all sound easier said than done. The Bills and Ravens game speaks for itself — it might be the non-Super Bowl game of the year.
