Many have debated just how much the on-field drills at the NFL Combine matter. Aren’t two, three, or even four years of college tape worth more than a few televised workouts?
There’s plenty of legitimacy to that argument, but at the NFL level, the simple things often matter the most: speed, size, and strength. At certain positions, size and strength are everything. At others, speed is critical.
In certain cases, some players can combine two or even all three of those qualities. Many of the players at the top of each draft are true unicorns who blend excellent size or powerful strength with exceptional speed. While a few of the highest-ranked prospects in this year’s draft didn’t participate, the 2025 NFL Combine introduced NFL fans to a few rising stars who blended speed, strength, and size.
Here’s a look at the fastest, biggest, and strongest players from the NFL Combine.
