At the NFL Honors on Thursday night, it will be revealed whether New York Giants legendary quarterback Eli Manning will be voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The two-time Super Bowl champion is on the ballot for the first time and is one of 15 finalists entering the final stage of the voting process.

In predicting which players will make the Hall of Fame as a part of the 2025 class, Adam Rank of NFL.com included Manning in the group.

Again, I’m not saying how I would vote here. However, if Manning does not get in on the first ballot, he would join Jim Plunkett, for at least a year, as the only Hall-eligible starting quarterbacks to win two Super Bowls and not be enshrined in Canton, Ohio. The case against Eli is that he was never one of the truly elite quarterbacks of his era when you compare him with his older brother, Peyton, Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers. But Eli’s teams also beat Rodgers and Brady twice during Super Bowl runs. People love to say wins are not a quarterback stat, but the truth is Super Bowl wins matter a lot in this context. My PREDICTION is the voters will put Manning in this year. The voting isn’t always easy to predict, but that’s how I see it playing out this time.

Rank also predicted linebacker Luke Kuechly, tight end Antonio Gates, wide receiver Torry Holt and kicker Adam Vinatieri as the others to make into the Hall of Fame.

Manning will be a polarizing case. He may not have put up elite seasons throughout his career, but there is something to be said about winning the Super Bowl twice — and beating Tom Brady both times.

If Manning doesn’t get in on the first try, it will be difficult to argue he won’t be in the 2026 class. Either way, the NFL world will find out Thursday night.
